Firefly Events Décor and Flowers – OUR STORY

Firefly evolved from a love story.  The story’s stars are a farmer and a florist:  Jerry Ziegler and Heidy Lange.  Firefly is Jerry and Heidy’s love child.  Jerry and Heidy opened Firefly located in the Murphy House at 109 N. Eighth Street, Mount Horeb in July, 2023.  The Murphy House was built in 1911.  Jerry and Heidy plan to leave the house in tact allowing Firefly’s clients to enjoy its historical charm.

The story behind Firefly’s flowers.  Heidy is a floral innovator with decades of elite experience in the floral industry.  Every arrangement is fresh, long lasting, magical and undeniably beautiful!  Firefly sources as much product as possible from local farmers; from the earth to your home!

The story behind Firefly’s events.  Firefly offers complete wedding and special event packages.  Heidy’s daughter, Jessica, is Firefly’s event coordinator and a master at creating charcuterie for the events.  Jessica is carrying the family tradition as she is the fourth generation to work the Events, Décor and Flowers business.

The story behind Firefly’s décor.  Firefly has unusual items for décor and gifts.  Many are crafted by local artisans.

At Firefly, we believe our clients deserve the very best product and service.  We are committed to fostering excellence in all we do, from Heidy’s innovative floral designs to unique home décor, a wide variety of unusual gift items, corporate services, weddings, and special events.  Our floral designs are ever-evolving and our gift collections are ever-changing.  No client event idea is too big or too small for Firefly to bring to light; just like the light of a Firefly!
